Recipe - Smoked Salmon, Fresh Dill and Zesty Lemon Pate

Got a dinner party in the near future? Perhaps you just fancy whipping up something a little more decadent as a special treat! Either way, try following our recipe for a simple but effective Smoked Salmon, Fresh Dill, and Zesty Lemon Pâté and get ready for the ultimate taste sensation at home! Featuring our original Oak Smoked Salmon, of course.

 

Ingredients:

  • 150g smoked salmon
  • 200g tub soft cheese
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Small bunch dill or chives.

Method:

Roughly chop your Jaffy's Oak Smoked Salmon using clean hands and a sharp knife. Keeping the herbs safely to one side for now, add all your ingredients to a food processor. Pulse until you reach your desired consistency - we'd recommend pulsing only once, but by all means continue if prefer a smoother pate. Transfer to a serving bowl before sprinkling the fresh herbs on top and stirring through. 

Best served with crusty sourdough or rough oatcakes, and a smile!
